Taylor NOS 114ce Acoustic Electric in Natural
Grand Auditorium NOS acoustic electric with torrefied spruce warmth, C-Class bracing and ES2 electronics
The Taylor NOS 114ce Acoustic Electric in Natural is a versatile Grand Auditorium that offers the feel, tone and reliability of a current Taylor model with the added value of New Old Stock savings. Our NOS (New Old Stock) guitars are bought directly from Taylor and receive a Full Taylor Warranty. Its solid torrefied spruce top adds warmth and a more played-in character, while layered sapele back and sides provide clear, consistent response with a focused midrange. With C-Class bracing, a Venetian cutaway, Taylor’s easy-playing neck and ES2 electronics, the 114ce is a strong choice for home practice, writing, lessons, worship, recording and live performance.
Features
The Grand Auditorium body shape gives the 114ce broad musical range, making it equally comfortable for strumming, fingerstyle and everyday accompaniment. Its clear, balanced voice works well across different styles, while the body shape remains comfortable enough for longer playing sessions.
A solid torrefied spruce top gives this model a warm, mature sound with the clarity and projection players expect from spruce. Taylor’s roasting process adds extra depth and sweetness, helping the guitar feel lively and responsive right away.
Layered sapele back and sides add stability and a consistent tonal foundation, with a focused midrange that sits nicely in a mix. Combined with C-Class bracing, the guitar offers improved response, stronger low-end presence, increased volume and longer sustain for a more complete acoustic voice.
The Venetian cutaway gives easier access to the upper frets, while Taylor’s slender neck profile helps keep fretting comfortable for newer players and experienced guitarists alike. ES2 electronics make the 114ce ready to plug in for performance, recording or rehearsal, capturing the guitar’s dynamic acoustic character with a natural amplified response.
As an NOS Taylor, this 114ce is an especially appealing option for players who want a genuine Taylor acoustic electric with full warranty coverage and excellent value. Damage caused by humidity, or lack of humidity, is not covered by any warranty. Shop humidifiers here.
