"The well-rounded 2M Red is our bestselling listening cartridge in its price range. An excellent choice for your first foray into audiophile cartridges; plus the ability to upgrade to the 2M Blue stylus later. With the 2MR line, Ortofon have considerately expanded their most popular line to account for those who listen with Rega (or similar) turntables, which previously required tedious and expensive add-ons to make the 2M series compatible. These 2MR models make those listener's lives just a bit easier, all while maintaining the standards they set for sound quality & pricing." - TTL
