The Ultra Aged is the top of the line: slow-cooked valley agave, double-distilled, aged more than three years in American and French oak and blended with four- and five-year tequila, bottled at 40% ABV in a limited-edition painted ceramic. Long Island Lou: extremely smooth and silky with a definite Cognac presence, chocolate and caramel smoothness that eventually gives a burst of agave — the darkest, richest-looking extra añejo he'd seen, multiple-award-winning, and so easy to drink his non-tequila-drinking wife loved it; he'd have liked more agave on the nose.
